All-on-4 Implants offer Convenience and Reliability
Although dental implants boast a number of advantages, the procedure typically requires a significant time commitment for patients. Placing traditional implants requires two surgeries with several months of healing time in between. Fortunately, that entire process can be expedited thanks to recent advancements in implant technology and placement techniques. All-on-4 implants placed by Dr. Mark Amidei allow patients to receive their implant and restoration in a single, convenient procedure. If you are missing teeth and are interested in the benefits of dental implants but cannot make the time commitment required, you may be a good candidate for the All-on-4 implants method, available at Delany Dental Care in Gurnee, IL.
Candidates for All-on-4 Implants
If you are missing most or all of your teeth, there is a good chance that you are a suitable candidate for the All-on-4 implants procedure. Unlike traditional dental implants that require sufficient jawbone tissue for placement, this approach does not have the same requirement; as a result, more patients can be viable candidates for All-on-4 implants. During a consultation at our office, our highly respected and knowledgeable dentists will examine your oral structure and jawbone density and review a detailed history of your dental and medical background to determine your candidacy for either traditional dental implants or All-on-4 implants.
Getting Older or Getting Better™. THE CHOICE IS YOURS! Come in and find out what is possible.
The All-on-4 Implants Procedure
On the day of your procedure, you will be given anesthesia to ensure your maximum comfort. We offer our patients a number of sedation options, including nitrous oxide, oral conscious, or general anesthesia administered by a certified anesthesiologist.
Once you are comfortably sedated, your dentist will create an incision in the gums and drill small pilot holes into the jawbone. The All-on-4 implants method involves placing dental implants at a precise angle in your jawbone, thereby requiring less bone tissue than traditional implants. Through these holes, four or five implants will be inserted before a temporary, natural-looking denture will be attached. Once our patients have been cleared by the doctor, they are free to leave. With All-on-4 implants, patients can leave our practice with a full set of securely retained dentures that allow them to eat, speak, and smile with complete confidence.
It is easy to see why so many patients suffering from tooth loss choose an All-on-4 implants procedure. The benefits of this procedure include:
- Improved peace of mind. Patients can be confident in their teeth, since they have chosen a highly-dependable, lasting solution for their smile.
Same-day form and function. All-on-4 implants recipients can communicate and eat as they normally would shortly after leaving our office.
Streamlined treatment. Patients undergo a single surgery for greater convenience and less recovery time.
Improved self-confidence. No longer will patients feel the urge to conceal their smile.
Fewer preparatory procedures. All-on-4 implants can be a good choice for patients with reduced jawbone tissue, as they can often forgo a preparatory procedure to strengthen their jaw.
Superior support for dental prosthetics. With proper care, All-on-4 implants can last a lifetime.
Convenient and easy care. Patients will not have to deal with messy adhesives used with traditional dentures.
Improved jawbone health. When they receive dental implants, patients put an end to jawbone deterioration that follows tooth loss.
