Many of our patients have learned that with proper coaching ,brushing the chewing surface of your teeth is not as important as brushing the sides and gum line for better health. We specifically advise brushing the gums and adjoing tooth structure 3 times a day for 2 minutes. Your teeth are certainly worth the effort. Additionally, consider and a power tooth brush like sonicare or Oral B. Many patients find that it is difficult to get the right brushing action with a regular tooth brush but a power brush does most of the work for you.

Ok, I agree, (delanydentalcare.com/about/dr-amidei)the power brushes clutter up your bathroom counters a bit but well worth it.....considering that the value of your teeth is great!!!

Did you know that it costs approximately $5000 to replace one tooth with an implant if you lose it!! Consider having 28 teeth x $5000 = $140,000!!!!!!

Your teeth are worth a lot of money ,so take care of them!!!!

Brush 2-3 times daily, floss daily!! this will help  nbut getting to the dentist and hygienist at least twice a year for regular maintenance and coaching is very imortant.
